The Sarah Jane Adventures
Introducing The Sarah Jane Adventures
If like me you are a massive fan of all things Doctor Who related then you will of course be very familiar with Sarah Jane Smith played by the amazing, much loved and missed Elisabeth Sladen.
However, if you’re just now discovering the sensation of what used to be one of BBC’s hit show The Sarah Jane Adventures then it’s not too late to get caught up with all the awesome adventures that revolved around a middle aged journalist.
You will find that the theme of the show bears a few similarities to the BBC’s popular and classic TV programs Doctor Who, but that’s because this series is actually the spin-off.
The five series show was one of the more successful Doctor Who spin-offs and ran for a good four years from 2007 to 2011. It was well received by both critics and audiences, which was probably why it lasted for longer than a single season. And just because the show no longer airs that doesn’t necessarily mean the adventures have to stop for you. You can once again enjoy Sarah Jane’s journeys through perilous lands and uncharted space with The Sarah Jane Adventures!

The Sarah Jane Adventures: The Complete Second Season (2009)
It’s non-stop fun and action for the adventurous journalist. However Sarah Jane is not your average investigative journalist; in fact her life is far from average. While other journalists are covering stories about ordinary human activities, Sarah is off fighting aliens, discovering hidden secrets of the past, traveling to space and so much more.
Elisabeth Sladen does an outstanding job portraying the middle aged adventurer, but then again no one expected anything less from her performance considering she was one of the traveling companions of the Doctor in the earlier Doctor Who series. So these extraterrestrials, monsters and other strange anomalies are right up her alley.
